It can generate an index with all pictures from a folder or folders structure, by placing their thumbnails on a large sheet. The application places numerous customization options at your disposal, so you can make your thumbnail sheet look however you want.

Snap2IMG is offered free of charge. Its files can be extracted from a ZIP archive, which is only 591 KB. Once you extract the files, you can launch the application right away, without going through an installation process.

You can make a wide range of preparations on Snap2IMG's tabbed interface. The application allows you to target an entire folder, with or without its sub-folders. To prevent confusion, Snap2IMG will add the images from each folder, on separate sheets, which can be saved in PNG or JPG format.

Before generating the index, you can set the height and width of your thumbnails, set a maximum number of thumbnails per row, set the application to split the sheet if it contains more than a certain number of rows and more. It is also possible to adjust the page margins and change the spacing between thumbnails, on a different tab. Furthermore, you may add a header and footer, which can include folder paths, extensions, sizes and other information.

The styling tab contains a few options for changing the page background, which can be a solid color or a texture. You can also add shadows and borders to the thumbnails and convert them to greyscale.
